I would recommend Masterful to any company that is trying to leverage it’s core competency into new markets for growth. Their fresh, unbiased perspective definitely helped stimulate our thinking and helped give us a clearer picture of how the growth initiatives we were developing fit together in a crisp strategy that could be communicated to our board, customers and potential investors/acquires in a very succinct manner.

As an overview:

  • Masterful did an excellent job of coming up to speed quickly on our market space and providing a high-level picture of the overall market, then identified four segments of the market that might be a good fit for us to pursue further.

  • Based on the bottoms up work ASSET had already done and the technology trends/pilot programs ASSET had going, both parties quickly realized which one of the four looked the most promising and should get more focus.

  • With that alignment complete, a presentation was developed that clearly communicated the opportunity. and how ASSET was well positioned to address this. The presentation was then taken to customers and partners to validate our thinking. The board of directors of ASSET reviewed the presentation and was very pleased with the quality and strategic thinking that went into helping ASSET with this new positioning direction that the company is now pursuing.

  • In addition, Masterful did a detailed account analysis of a company they had insight into and gave advice on how ASSET might better position itself in the account that was both a customer and strategic partner in an emerging technology area that aligns with the new positioning. This advice was timely as ASSET was entering into contract renewal discussions with the account and the advice helped us in planning for that negotiation.

As we wind down the year I wanted to say thank you for all your hard work, passion and devotion to our company for the past 1.5 years.

Thanks to your efforts and the efforts of those you managed as part of the team, CipherOptics has realized significant OEM revenues in a fairly short period of time. This was accomplished by making our solutions part of our OEM partner’s roadmap and outlook in the industry. As part of this endeavor, we also created an industry presence that brought much credibility to our company.

Your efforts have also allowed us to realize excellent interaction and potential with other industry leading companies who are in a position to take advantage of our technology. Today we are actively engaged with several high profile OEMs in multiple areas as a partner for their strategic initiatives. They see us and our roadmap to be very much in line with their future direction. This represents a huge opportunity for the company.

Danielle and Susan, on behalf of the company, thank you for the valuable experience of working with and growing CipherOptics. All of us have benefited from your involvement with us and we have certainly enjoyed the interaction.

Please accept my personal thanks for all of the good work Masterful has done for Mirage Networks over the past several months. Your team's professionalism, commitment to results and attention to detail have all contributed to our success.

I want, in particular, to thank you for all you have done to help Mirage close, sign and execute the recent alliance contract. The teamwork we've seen from Masterful has increased Mirage's expectations for success over the term of the alliance, and helped set us in very good standing with our client.
